— Brass Thermowell Line

Fast thermal response. Precise fitment. No lag.

Brass conducts heat faster than stainless steel. Specified where thermal response lag is unacceptable — water systems, HVAC loops, and moderate-pressure process lines.

▸ Material & Thread Standards

Rated ranges. Compatible thread standards.

Material: C36000 free-machining brass. Max operating temperature: 250 °C (482 °F). Pressure rating: up to 600 PSI depending on wall schedule.

Thread standards: ½" NPT, ¾" NPT, G ½", G ¾" BSP. Bore diameters: 6 mm, 8 mm, 11 mm. Custom immersion lengths available on inquiry.

Thermal conductivity: 109 W/m·K — roughly 15× higher than 316 stainless. Choose brass when lag under two seconds is a hard requirement.
